About Your Analyst
Kathy MacKenzie, the
owner of Your Best Colors, has been a certified color image consultant
since 1994. Before earning her certification, she sold Mary Kay Cosmetics, but
despite her love for the skincare products, she seldom wore makeup—just some
lipstick, blush, and mascara.
When she discovered
the world of color consulting, Kathy was eager to get her “colors done,” but it
was a complex journey. With her unique combination of chocolate brown eyes
rimmed in light blue, olive skin, and light brown hair, consultants struggled
to identify her season: Winter, Autumn, or Summer? After multiple
consultations, each with differing results, she decided to take matters into
her own hands.
Kathy pursued
professional training to master the art of Color Analysis and now uses this
expertise to help other women find their perfect palettes. She employs
state-of-the-art draping technology and a meticulous analysis process to reveal
the best colors for her clients' hair, blush, and lipstick.
