Preparing for Your Color Analysis
During your approximately one-hour appointment, you'll wear a white draping cape that covers your clothes, so feel free to come in anything you like!
However:
- Avoid high-necked tops as they can show above
the cape.
- Do not wear makeup to the appointment to ensure accurate results.
How Does a Color Consultation Work?
Your overt coloring, undertones, highlights in your hair, and flecks in your eyes will be thoroughly analyzed. You'll be assessed twice: first with an initial analysis, then while wearing a white cape using color curtains to confirm Your Best Colors.
Determining Your Undertone:
- Blue or purple veins may suggest a cool undertone, while green veins indicate a warm undertone.
- Jewelry can be another clue: gold tones suit warm skin, while silver tones flatter cool skin.
- Freckles can be another clue: they suggest a warm undertone, while lack of freckles indicate a cool undertone
- Finally, draping cool vs warm to see the overall affect.
